Awards and Appreciation Committee
The AHA Member Appreciation Committee was created for the purpose of developing and implementing a formal recognition program for AHA members and to encourage members to exhibit a positive attitude toward other members and to demonstrate appreciation to them and the contribution they make to the Alliance for Hispanic Advancement.
Any AHA member may submit nominations. Nominees can be cited for, among other things, performing actions above and beyond his/her duties, volunteering or taking part in a function which benefits the AHA organization, or performing any type of community service to the residents of the Yuba-Sutter area.
Any time an AHA member performs an action which you feel deserves special recognition is the perfect opportunity for you to submit a nomination for that member.
When nominating someone for the award, please be as specific and include as much detail as possible. The AHA Appreciation Committee members vote on each individual nomination received and their votes are based on the content of the nomination, not on the number of nominations one member may receive. Therefore, the more information you include in your nomination stating the reason for the nomination will assist the Committee in their voting process. If you would like to nominate a member, please email me at: email@example.com
We would like to first start with founding members who have quietly volunteered for years and then move to newer members or outstanding ones, as time goes by.
